I need to keep myself organized. What better way but to paint a huge wall in chalkboard paint?

My vision is to have a decently large wall next to my bookshelf to be a chalkboard. I can write ideas down on it, a list of to-do tasks, layout drawings, etc. All kinds of fun stuff. This will either look like a horrible disaster of an eye-sore or be a brilliant idea that changes my life forever.

I’m digging the multi-colored chalk above for headings and bullets perhaps (yes, I think in HTML). Also perhaps a strip across might be nicer, as below.

An entire wall is rather dark there (above), however where I want to put it is a very open space with exceptionally high ceilings and a lot of light.
