Neuro Nano iPod

Sylvius iPod

Sylvius has developed an iPod version of their neuroanatomy reference guide! SylviusVG, iPod Edition is a visual glossary of the human brain and spinal cord containing information on more than 400 neuroanatomical structures and terms.

I’m definitely going to have to pick this up. I’d like to know how much space it’s going to consume on my Nano — not sure I can go without hundreds of songs so that I can be ready if I’m on call for a brain surgery. You never know though.

For each term, Sylvius features:

  • A description of the structure’s location and function.
  • A detailed image and text description of the image.
  • An audio pronunciation.
  • Links to related terms and structures.
