    You are right that this is not ground-breaking learning technology, but, for the value that it holds, it is not promoted enough. My post came about because my son was taking an MCAT practice test that had a reading passage on Primacy/Recency and he had no idea what it was. I began to ask others about it, even within the teaching ranks of my school. When I asked about it, the common reply was, “Huh?” I believe that we in education fail students most when we tell them to study and then never teach them how.
