    These are targeted to kids like my urban african-american students, who would wear them in a minute. High tops aren’t the fashion these days. None of my basketball playing students wear high tops any more. THey wear shoes that look like this.

And yes, his teacher and some of his classmates are white - it’s not just an African-American thing! I’m happy for the artist who makes them, and he’s happy to be able to support Obama.
