County by County

This, County by County Election Results, is really interesting. Although admittedly not very surprising. This is a breakdown of the 2004 election county by county (it’s helpful to check out the larger version).

Looking at the map we can clearly see how this country is divided. Red vs. Blue, Rural vs. Urban, Corn Fields vs. Skyscrapers, Averagely Intelligent Human Beings vs. Backwards Xenophobic and Homophobic Evangelistic Retards. This gives us a much clearer picture of just who is voting for what’s-his-name, much better than the state-wide electoral blue/red breakdown. OK kids, who would like to come up and point out the big cities on the map?

As you can see from the Dark Sky map, commerce, tourism, market-share and places where DSL/Cable is available are blue; while in the dark sit the short-bussed masses of farmers, evangelic rednecks and abortion clinic bombers. Can I get an “amen?”

Am I being too harsh?

Speaking of rural ignorance, have you seen Retro vs. Metro? It’s excellent.
