I am a web entrepreneur (whatever that is) focused on standards-based development. I currently live and work in Palm Beach, FL.
This blog is about me and my passion for art, science and technology. I do, however, often veer off topic a bit when I have some random thought I just have to get out there.

Hi Travis. I like the new look….it is easier on the eyes! Also, relax about talking about yourself in the first person. I find that people who write using the third person are really only trying to avoid (albeit unconsciously) responsibility for what they say. There is a big argument going on in academia about this. THE style for academics is, of course, always the 3rd person to “seem” objective. We’re human, no matter how hard we try we can never be objective and giving your academic work the patina of objectivity by writing in the third person, is just a means to say “my work is not tainted by my prejudices,” when of course all our work is subject to that personal subjectivity. So write away in the first person….who cares about fitting in? ;-) with best wishes from and ALSO a vocino.
