Valentine’s Cards that Don’t Suck

  • The Art, Culture entry posted on February 14th, 2008.

When you care enough to be ironic, send the very best. Nothing says “I love you” like the time and effort it takes to type your email address in a web form and hit submit. If you’re really in love, try actually copying the image into a new email message manually.

God damn, that’s love.

First on the list in the classic in ecard irony, someecards.com. Ah yes, a longtime favorite of lazy lovers across these internets.

Science eCards

These things are spreading faster than lolcats. They’re Valentine’s Day ecards for the scientifically minded Darwinist inherent in all great loves.

Cute. What special girl or guy wouldn’t love you just a bacterium more after seeing Charlie’s stylish beard and bald head combo?

Wow. Just wow. I’m not sure what I’d do if a man bought me one of these cards. I’d either want to smack him or marry him, maybe both.

Which is better. A constant showering of gifts to say sorry, or someone that’s dependable and stable?…
